Built in an old monastery, the Hotel Luna Convento was one of the pioneers of hospitality in Amalfi and enjoyes a truly stunning view of the Divine Amalfi coast.

The cloister, founded by St. Francis of Assisi in 1222, is the very heart of the convent: a pleasant place where it is possible to relax between ancient walls and gorgeous flowers.

The rooms, furnished in pure Mediterranean style and equipped with all modern comforts, are realized in the monks' cells and enjoy a spectacular sea view. The suites (one of which is built in an ancient guard tower) were the accommodation of Gore Vidal, Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman and Roberto Rossellini, and others.

The Hotel Luna has, moreover, two restaurants with panoramic view, where it is possible to taste typical dishes of the Mediterranean cuisine, carefully prepared by our chefs only using local ingredients and fresh daily catch.
